The meeting, which will take evidence from residents, takes place at Hendon Town Hall, the Burroughs, NW4 4BG at 7pm on Thursday 4 March.

Yes, but sadly only written evidence. The structure of the meeting is that 2 residents representatives have been chosen by the Council to speak. They will then hear from Ward Councillors, Officers and the utilities and consider written submissions. No opportunity for any other representatives to speak or ask questions. Smacks of stitch up to me.

So this is yet another 'we have listened to the people' box-checking exercise.  Having the meeting nowhere near East Barnet is either stupidity, or a deliberate tactic to limit the involvement of the affected community.  Either way - we deserve better from our representatives.

I agree that this is not good enough. However I am on this committee so if I get the opportunity I will ask any questions that you wish me to.
